Joyce’s Long-Term Care Plan Joyce resides in a memory care facility in Rigby. Anyone familiar with the high monthly cost of memory care knows that it’s roughly equal to three months’ rent. Because long-term care is not covered by Medicare, the financial responsibility falls to her family. Melanie is the only child and adult family member Joyce has left.
